Relaxation: Master Baths and Home Spas
Who doesn’t love the idea of a luxurious master bath or an inviting home spa
for relaxation and some well deserved pampering? Come on – we all work so hard!
Here are some of the best that I have come across recently:
I would never have guessed this serene and luxurious home spa
to be the work of designer Jamie Drake who is known for his bold color palettes.
Beautiful materials and the symmetry really works here.
I love it! And his other work as well.
This has awesome impact and style for a rather small master bath.
The 19th century nickel-and-brass tub is gorgeous while the chair by
Honoré Paris from Galerie Yves Gastou adds an unexpected, sculptural dash of color.
The painted wall stripes add drama and accentuate the high ceiling.
This entire Paris apartment featured in Elle Decor is absolutely stunning,
very chic and elegant – it is worth taking a look!

- This master bath designed by Judi Male was featured in Metropolitan Home
Very clean, fresh and modern with a touch of glamour added by the two Venetian Glass Mirrors.
The designer wisely understood that the space really needs to act a backdrop to the view.
It’s appropriately understated and doesn’t compete with the awesome view.
The trompe l’oeil mosaic wall tile adds depth and whimsy to the master bath
of this row house in Beacon Hill, a tony neighborhood of Boston.
The entire renovation completed by it’s occupants, a developer/designer duo is
worth a look and was featured recently in Boston Home magazine.
So peaceful and natural feeling is this master bath of a renovated ranch house in
Marine County, CA that was featured in Met Home.
Modern yet calming, I love how the outdoors seems to invade the space.
The entire home is lovely and definitely worth a look
especially for those interested in sustainable and green design.
Hopefully this is most of you : )
